Merry Christmas

I had to put some pictures up of the kids on Christmas Sunday. I think that they look absolutely adorable, but I'm their mom and of course I think they are. the only way that I could get Bryson to sit still to get a picture of him is to give him an ornament to play with. I put Baylee's hair in foam curlers. I was putting them in my hair and of course she wanted to have them too even though she has curly hair already it turned out really curly I loved it. Here are some pictures of Christmas morning. Baylee loved her sun glasses and carrys them around with her everywhere she goes. Bryson loves this toy and really likes the bear on top that dances. This year we had all of my family up for Christmas, and that doesn't happen very often with 11 kids and all. My family always has a Christmas Eve party and so that is where we went Christmas Eve. It was tons of fun and lots of food and goodies. Then Christmas day we had our morning to ourselves and then went to Darin's parents to open presents and had dinner their and then visited my parents and came home. It was a full but fun Christmas.

I love snow

I love the snow. We are getting so much of it. The only thing that I am worried about is where are we going to put it. We broke the record of the most snow fall in 24 hrs. It was like 32-34 inches is what the news said and we are supposed to get some more this week about 8-10 more inches. I love watching the snow fall and playing in it, and Baylee does too. I tried to get Bryson out in the snow just for a little bit and he through the biggest fit over getting dress it just wasn't going to work out. Baylee on the other hand loves to be out side and if she could she would wear her boots all year long. She is a typical girl and loves shoes. The first snow storm we had my nephews over and we all had a blast playing in the snow. I pulled them behind me on the 4-wheeler on a sled and went sledding down the little hill of snow on my street. We all had tons of fun.

Snowmobiling

We had a snow storm this Friday and Saturday and it was supposed to be 6-8 inches but it only ended up being maybe 4 or 5 inches if your lucky. I love the snow and loved last years amount of snow that we had. Anyways up in the mountains though their is a lot of snow, so that is where Darin is this Saturday all day. Playing in the snow with his brothers and dad. Last night he was getting ready to go out today and was finding his helmet and found some old helmet and put it on the kids it was so cute. Bryson is in this stage where he knows to smile at the camera. What a cute smile he has. Baylee is such a daddy's girl. She follows him everywhere he goes. When she wakes up in the morning the first thing she asks is "Where's daddy?" if he isn't around. Never hi mom or anything but where's daddy. She loves him so much. I have been cooking tons with my sister Holly and sending out Christmas cards. I wanted to get an early start so that I didn't have to hurry so much when it got closer to Christmas.

Christmas tree

This week we were planning to all go and get our tree but Bryson fell asleep and so Baylee and Darin went and picked out the tree and then Baylee and I decorated it together. She had tons of fun, but now she takes the ornaments off and plays with them. This year might be another year of a half decorated tree where the bottom half is missing and the top half is fine. Darin also put the light out on the front of the house too. Baylee loves the lights. Everytime we turn them on she is always saying CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!!! She gets so excited about it. It's more fun this year because she is starting to understand more things about this time of year. Bryson is so interested with the lights. He crawls to the tree and trys to tear pieces of it off. I have tons of pine needles on the ground from him doing that. I now know why my sisters and mom have fake trees. I think that I still want to have a real tree still. Bryson has learned a new trick, he picks his nose, I mean he really sticks that finger up there like theirs gold:) It is so funny. He just sits their and smiles at me when he is doing it. Baylee has started to just randomly start singing out loud. I love it. She sings I Am A Child Of God and The Itsy Bitsy Spider are he favorites. Darin has been out in his man cave half the week tinkering around out their. I have been just doing the same old thing nothing new.

Brysons week

This week Bryson took his first steps the day after Thanksgiving. He took a couple of steps and then did it again right after that. Today he took a couple of steps to my dad too. Then the yesterday I gave him a hair cut. at first it was supposed to be a trim around the ears and neck. Then I wanted to shorten it up a bit and then out came the buzzer. I stuck a #4 on their and went all around his head. Darin didn't want me to give him a hair cut in the first place. I can understand why now. I know I not a beauticaian but I was just giving it a try. So anyways I started cutting his hair while Darin was outside playing in the new snow that we got that day with Baylee and when he came in it was buzzed. He was shocked at first but Darin actually likes it. He tells everyone that Bryson has his hair now:) I on the other hand don't like the hair cut at all. I loved his longer hair I just wanted to trim it a little. Everyone says that he looks older now and I don't like that too much becuase his still my baby. I took these pictures while he was sleeping but eventually he woke up. Baylee has had a good Thanksgiving. She had fun playing with her cousins and hanging out with them this week. We have all been a little sick too this week so that is why it took me a while to post something. Darin has been going with his brother out hunting and helping them out finding something to shoot. He has also been cutting up deer and has been keeping busy. I made a pumkin cheese cake for our Thanksgiving dinner with Darins family, and butching Bryson's hair.

Darin's Deer

Darin has been hunting and hunting and hunting. He never got an elk and this deer season he was seeing deer but not the one he wanted. Well finally he found the one that was good enough for him to shoot at, he shoot it in the neck and he went down. Darin was with his brother Jayson when he got it. Darin's other brother Brent was with them but about 500 yards away. It is actually a really big buck. It's the biggest that I have ever seen. It's a 4 point buck too. Sorry about the pictures these are ones from his phone. Darin was so excited about the buck that he kept going out to look at it all evening. He could hardly sleep and he kept telling me the story of how he got it, I think that he has told me about 3 or 4 times over. I'm proud of him.

My Birthday and Darins Deer.

This Tuesday was my birthday. It was a good day. Darin went out and did some errands and the kids and I sat at home doing stuff around the house. Taylor got me some movie tickets and so Darin and I went and saw Eagle Eye while she watched them. It was a action packed movie but it was good. Then we went home and I went to the gym for a while. Darin forgot to make a cake but no big deal. I had a lot of family and friends that called and wished me a happy birthday and that was really nice. Monday Darin got a doe and he has already cut it up and has it smoked into sausage and peperoni. He loves to proses he own meat, and I might say he does a really good job at it, since he does it for a living and all. He also cut up another deer on the same day. I help him do the wrapping and odds and ends. So this week has been full of fun. Sorry no pictures my batteries are dead in my camera:(
