This week Bryson took his first steps the day after Thanksgiving. He took a couple of steps and then did it again right after that. Today he took a couple of steps to my dad too. Then the yesterday I gave him a hair cut. at first it was supposed to be a trim around the ears and neck. Then I wanted to shorten it up a bit and then out came the buzzer. I stuck a #4 on their and went all around his head. Darin didn't want me to give him a hair cut in the first place. I can understand why now. I know I not a beauticaian but I was just giving it a try. So anyways I started cutting his hair while Darin was outside playing in the new snow that we got that day with Baylee and when he came in it was buzzed. He was shocked at first but Darin actually likes it. He tells everyone that Bryson has his hair now:) I on the other hand don't like the hair cut at all. I loved his longer hair I just wanted to trim it a little. Everyone says that he looks older now and I don't like that too much becuase his still my baby. I took these pictures while he was sleeping but eventually he woke up. Baylee has had a good Thanksgiving. She had fun playing with her cousins and hanging out with them this week. We have all been a little sick too this week so that is why it took me a while to post something. Darin has been going with his brother out hunting and helping them out finding something to shoot. He has also been cutting up deer and has been keeping busy. I made a pumkin cheese cake for our Thanksgiving dinner with Darins family, and butching Bryson's hair.
Darin has been hunting and hunting and hunting. He never got an elk and this deer season he was seeing deer but not the one he wanted. Well finally he found the one that was good enough for him to shoot at, he shoot it in the neck and he went down. Darin was with his brother Jayson when he got it. Darin's other brother Brent was with them but about 500 yards away. It is actually a really big buck. It's the biggest that I have ever seen. It's a 4 point buck too. Sorry about the pictures these are ones from his phone. Darin was so excited about the buck that he kept going out to look at it all evening. He could hardly sleep and he kept telling me the story of how he got it, I think that he has told me about 3 or 4 times over. I'm proud of him.
This Tuesday was my birthday. It was a good day. Darin went out and did some errands and the kids and I sat at home doing stuff around the house. Taylor got me some movie tickets and so Darin and I went and saw Eagle Eye while she watched them. It was a action packed movie but it was good. Then we went home and I went to the gym for a while. Darin forgot to make a cake but no big deal. I had a lot of family and friends that called and wished me a happy birthday and that was really nice. Monday Darin got a doe and he has already cut it up and has it smoked into sausage and peperoni. He loves to proses he own meat, and I might say he does a really good job at it, since he does it for a living and all. He also cut up another deer on the same day. I help him do the wrapping and odds and ends. So this week has been full of fun. Sorry no pictures my batteries are dead in my camera:(
These are some pictures that we took in our back yard. Bryson had a lot of fun playing with the leaves and holding the pumpkin, but he wasn't too interested in getting his picture taken. Baylee liked throwing them everywhere. She loves to take pictures. She always wants to be the center of attention during them and has the cheesiest grins. We had a lot of fun and they turned out great.
I made this pumpkin cheese cake and I was just really excited that it turned out. I have made two of them so far now. It's been a lot of work to make them. Darin got the recipe out of a magazine and it's supposedly the same one that the cheese cake factory uses. It takes all day and all night to make. It takes 2lbs of cream cheese. I was so surprised by how much it takes. Darin really likes like cheese cake and I think he might have gained a couple of ppounds after this week. Darin took a piece out of the cake before I could take a picture of it.
Bryson was a pirate and Baylee was a caterpillar, but she wouldn't keep the hood on and kept complaining that she wanted to be a pirate also. At least we got her to smile in one picture though. That night we went to the CDA stake center for a little while with some friends and family, but then we left and went to a barn party that my parents ward was doing. Baylee had tons of fun at that. Bryson wasn't feeling to well and neither was Darin, so we stayed for a while and let Baylee play some games and do some trick or treating and then went home. The kids are still young that it doesn't really matter to be out terribly too long and they don't want to feel their bags to the top. I remember going trick or treating as a kid with pillow cases and trying to feel those babies up. That was so hard work and long hours. We did our pumpkin carving a couple nights before Halloween and that was a fun night. Baylee kept trying to grab the knife to do it herself but she loved to scrap all the goo out of the pumpkin, and Bryson just watched and made tons of noise waiting to be feed since he was in his high chair.
Darin and I have been married for six years. We have three children Baylee Bryson and Charlie. Baylee is five years old, Bryson is three years old, Carlie is one, and that is our family.
