My Car

This is my old car. I loved my car. I am just glad that it was strong enough to take a hit for my family. I found an article from the Moscow newspaper that briefly explains what happened.

A Moscow woman was hospitalized following a two-car crash on U.S.
Highway 95 near Tensed that knocked down several power lines and forced
the roadway to be closed for about 90 minutes Sunday afternoon.

According to an Idaho State Police incident report, Cynthia Borchardt,
54, of Moscow was driving her 1998 Honda Civic in the southbound lane
when she fell asleep and swerved into the northbound lane, sideswiping
Darin Frank, 33, of Hayden, Idaho, and forcing his 2002 Honda Accord
into the ditch.

Borchardt's vehicle continued across the northbound lane and struck a
guide wire for a power pole, forcing several lines to come down shortly
after 5 p.m.

Borchardt was transported by ambulance to Gritman Medical Center in
Moscow, according to the ISP report. Information on her condition was
not available before press time.

Frank was not injured.

One Crazy Weekend

Last weekend my family and I went on a trip to Boise. I forgot my camera so no picture sorry. We left on Friday and got there about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. It was great not to see snow on the ground since it had snowed the day before we left. We then went and saw our new niece Ella and she was so cute. It is just amazing how little babies are. Then we went and ate and I met up with my friend that I have know since we were in diapers and went to the mall while Darin went swimming with the kids. They loved the swimming so much and I loved shopping. Then Saturday I went to the outlets with my sister in law Val which was tons of fun as all shopping is. Darin went to Cabala's and then he took the kids swimming again, the kids just loved the swimming pool so much Baylee was always asking if she could go swimming. I went and hung out with Suzi again it was so awesome to see her, and her chunky baby Cody. He is so cute and funny. I had a lot of fun playing with Cody. I would tickle him and he would laugh so hard he was squealing like a little pig. Sunday we went to the baby blessing for Ella and then went and got changed after sacrament and started on the road home. The visiting part was a lot of fun, but the drive home wasn't so much. The kids hated to be in the car and were kinda fussy about that but that still wasn't the worst. We were almost home about 45 min. away and we were on hwy 95 and the car in the opposite lane hit us. So the car accident was the worst part just in case you were wondering. The car was going into our lane and it seemed as if she was aiming for us even though she wasn't, and Darin swerved off the road and she side swiped us on the driver side. The air bags deployed and our car turned into a ditch. Darin was driving and my brother in law was in the passenger side and Bryson was on the back driver side, Baylee on the back passenger side, and I was in the middle of the kids. The driver of the other car fell asleep at the wheel and hit us and then hit a power line which then fell over. She was taken away in the ambulance but was alright that we knew. We came out of the car with only a jammed finger for my brother in law that was on the passenger side and some soar muscles. Everyone is alright for the most part just really shook up. We think that our car is totaled. I will post some pictures of it soon. I am just so grateful that my family is alright. I'm grateful for the power of prayer and I really and truly felt that God had his eye on my family Sunday evening. That we are really and truly blessed to have walked away from this accident.

Kiddos

It's been a while since I have blogged. Bryson has one of his molars out. We just noticed that today, and he got a black eye, that was self inflicted. He is walking like crazy and getting into everything possible to mankind and I go crazy when he gets into the toilet. His favorite place to get into is the bottom drawers that have the Tupperware in them and he likes to take them out and get inside the drawer. I don't think that the drawer will work the same when he is done with it. Baylee has been in this thing were she repeats everything that I say, and sometimes it's not always good. I'm only human. She has been in this really lovey dovey stage too. She has to give you five hugs and six slobbery kisses in the time frame of five minutes. It's been really sweet and wet.

My Diva and Nose Picker

Baylee is going to be such a little model I swear. She just loves the camera. She has to be in every picture and loves to smile in them. She just loves the camera. I have to keep the camera up high so she can't get it because if it is in reach she will get it down and beg for her picture to be taken or try to do it herself. We just love our little diva. Bryson on the other hand isn't much of a diva in his picture. He loves to pick his nose. I hope that it is just a stage you know just finding his nose and nostril:) Hopefully he doesn't hold on to this nose picking thing. No one wants their kid to be the one at school picking their nose. I think that it's funny that he doesn't like for anyone else to touch it but himself. I like that he loves to smile for the camera like Baylee and he did for this picture too. I have some crazy kiddos but I sure love them crazy or not.

Happy - Anniversary- Birthday!!!!!!

I Sorry I have been slacking on posting. Everything here has been so busy. On the 8th of this month was Darin and mine anniversary. We didn't do much but how the time has gone by. In four years we have had 2 children that we love so dearly. We have painted almost the whole inside of our home and all the outside, put a deck up, put wooden shingles up on the peeks of the house, and Darin has built a shop in the back yard. He also put wood flooring and tile in the house too. I think we have accomplished a lot during four year together. OK so Darin did most of the remolding but through all that we are still going and I love him very much. On the 13th of this month Bryson turned 1 year old. Time is just running by. I can't believe that he is one already. He is just growing like a weed. He had tons of fun with his cake and loved every bit of it. He is such a blessing to us and adds so much to our little family. We all love our little Bryson. (Sorry about the picture of the cake it wouldn't go on straight.

Cookie Monster

Bryson is such a good eater. He even eats my food too if given the chance, but I guess that is part of being a boy. Earlier this week I had to take a picture of him when he was eating his cookie. Before I could take the picture he had half of the cookie hanging out of his mouth it was really funny. He was just having a blast with it. He is such a big boy. He is trying to walk on his own a lot more and he has figured out how to climb down the stairs as well as up for a while. Thank goodness because I am tired of always putting the gate up for the stairs and trying to climb over it. Baylee is becoming quiet the little helper. She is pretty good at putting her toys away and even the ones that Bryson takes out, of course this is only when she is asked but I think that it is a pretty good start. She helps out around the house. She loves to hold the dust pan when I sweep and put the dirt into the trash. She took the trash out for me this evening, of course she needed help. She loves to help load and unload the dishes. The cutest thing ever is that she really tries to take care of her brother here and there. When eating she gets a wipe and tries to wipe his mouth off for him and picks up his food for him. She tries to feed him his food too. Baylee really loves to help me out. I am so grateful for my little kids. They are such a blessing in my life. I love them so much.
